Or so says Russian President Demitry Medvedev in a recent visit to the Karelia region. The internet-savvy new President sees Information Technology as a tool to drive economic growth.

Medvedev also sees technology as a way to bring more transparency to government and reduce corruption. He was also quoted as saying that government leaders must learn to use technology or they will be dismissed.
